Penrith City Council is inviting feedback from the community about the use of Ron Mulock Oval in Thornton.

Ron Mulock Oval serves as a central green space with residents enjoying the oval for personal exercise, walking their dog, playing sports and socialising with family and friends.

Penrith Mayor Todd Carney welcomed the opportunity to engage with the community to hear directly from residents and visitors what the needs are for Ron Mulock Oval.

''Ron Mulock Oval is a well-loved and important space in Thornton. We want to hear from residents what they love about Ron Mulock Oval but also what ideas they have for how we can make it a better space for the community,'' said Cr Carney.

''Your feedback is a valuable way to let Council know your ideas which you can do in person by speaking with Council staff at a series of pop-up community consultation sessions or by participating in a short online survey.''

''We want Ron Mulock Oval to be a space for everyone in the community to enjoy, so I encourage you to make your voice heard.''

Residents are invited to participate by:
• Completing an online survey open now until 5 May at yoursaypenrith.com.au/ron-mulock-oval
• Attending a pop-up community consultation session on the following dates:
• Saturday 6 April, 10am-12pm at Ron Mulock Playground (near BBQ area)
• Thursday 11 April, 7.30am-9.30am at Thornton Community Centre
